SESAT manages experimental and on-farm trials of means and techniques of crop husbandry and protection on behalf of public agencies and private agrotechnology firms, conducted in suitable farms and processing factories following international guidelines (EPPO, CEB, ISO, IOBC/WPRS, BS, IRAC, AFNOR). All steps of testing trials are provided: host farm contracting; trial planning and conducting; data gathering, recording and analysis; communication of results according to commission agreements.

SESAT Srls is certified by the Italian Ministry of Agrofood and Forest Policies as testing center competent for conducting official field trials to evaluate the efficacy of plant protection products (decree DG DISR of 29/3/2017, Gazzetta Ufficiale, serie generale, n. 85, 2017-4-11).

Phytopathology expert
Master degree in agroscience. Collaborator to plant diseases and protection resarch at the CREA Research Center for Cereals and Processing Crops, Caserta Laboratory. Author of technical papers in the field of plant diseases and protection.

SESAT executive – Enthomology expert
Retired senior researcher of the Italian Council of Agricultural and Agroeconomy Research (CREA), currently associate of the Institute for Sustainable Plant Protection of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). Past director of testing centers for official trials of plant protection products. Member of Scientific Societies in the areas of plant protection. Author of papers and books in the field of enthomology and plant protection.

Crop science expert
Retired senior researcher of the CREA. Author of technical papers and books in the fields of plant diseases and crop science.

Director of the SESAT testing center
Data science expert. Retired research director of the CREA. Fields of interest: methods of experiment, data analysis, crop protection, quality of vegetable crops and tobacco.

During his life, as a test center, Sesat collaborated with numerous magazines and publishing companies in the sector with important publications and in-depth studies. These include: L’Informatore Agrario, Inteli Edizioni and Edagricole Edizioni.
